Think of our pottery memberships as your gym membership for all things clay! This is the perfect opportunity for those who want to keep practicing and enjoy more independent hours in the studio.

Not only does your membership give you access to our creative space, but it also welcomes you into our awesome Mud House community!

If you’ve completed a course with us or something similar, we can’t wait for you to join in on the fun and continue your pottery journey with us!

    • Free 30-Minute Studio Induction: Get familiar with our space and equipment with a complimentary introduction.

    • Courtyard and Kitchenette Access: Enjoy our courtyard and kitchenette as part of your membership (please note that this area is still being developed; check the opening hours below).

    • Top-Notch Equipment: Use our 8 brand new Shimpo RK-55 wheels to create your masterpieces (plus 6 more when the members area fully opens)

    • Workbenches for Glazing and Hand-Building: Access dedicated workspaces for glazing and hand-building projects.

    • Tools and Equipment: Make use of our studio tools, including a slab roller and wall extruder, to aid your creative process.

    • Unlimited Dipping Glazes: Experiment freely with our selection of 15 dipping glazes at your leisure.

    • Kiln Firings: Enjoy bisque and glaze kiln firings, subject to our fair usage policy.

    • Private Storage: Secure your own storage crate (43x31x30cm) for your apron, tools, and materials, plus shelf space for your projects. There's also a shared storage area for member clay.

    • Choice of Clays: Choose from 4 types of studio clay (12.5KG) available for purchase directly at £6-20 per bag, including Reclaim, Buff, White Stoneware, Lava Fleck, and Vulcan Black Clay.

    • One-on-One Wheel Throwing Sessions: Get expert advice with our 30-minute troubleshooting sessions for just £18.

    • Studio Technician Support: Our knowledgeable technician is available to answer any questions related to the studio.

    • Join a Vibrant Community: Become part of our growing pottery community, where creativity flourishes.

    • Makers Market Participation: Take part in our quarterly makers market at the studio, including our festive Christmas market.

Mud Maestro

£160 per month (£4 p/hr)

  • 10 hours per week access to the studio

  • A free 30 minute studio induction

  • Unlimited use of our studio glazes

  • Your own storage crate and WIP shelf

  • Minimum term 2 months

  • Standard shelf for WIP work

Mud Maven

£240 per month (£3 p/hr)

  • 20 hours per week access to the studio

  • A free 30 minute studio induction

  • Unlimited use of our studio glazes

  • Firings included (see T&Cs for full details)

  • Your own storage crate and WIP shelf

  • Minimum term 2 months

  • Large shelf for WIP work

Pay as you go

£100 for 10hrs (£10 p/hr)

  • A free 30 minute studio induction

  • Unlimited use of our studio glazes

  • Firings charged at 6£ per kg for bisc & 9£ per kg for glaze

  • Hours must be used within 2 months

  • Limited communal shelf/ all tools and aprons must be taken home with you.
